Sunday Night On the Train....

I was riding on the train

on the Green line to 63rd and Ashland..

heading back from Downtown 
through Bronzeville to Englewood

just checking out my folks...

sketching in my sketchbook...

and listening to the sounds

of the train moving..  

& people talking on their phones...
& hearing the tracks go 
clack, clak, clak 

 feeling the rocking  motions..
thinking my thoughts...

& trying to get it all down 

before I heard the final sounds of 

"Doors closing

All passengers must leave the train!"
