IN CHICAGO, DETROIT AND ATLANTA ON FEBRUARY 11, 2012!
Black History month rises and dances once again.... February 2012
... and I wish I had some clones so I could be in three places at one time to go to all of the 3rd Black Comic Book Day celebrations in Chicago, Atlanta and Detroit, today, Saturday, February 11, 2012!
We don't always have to look to the past to celebrate Black History. Some times our Superheroes and Heroines are living and breathing and accessible today! Meet a few today at the Black Comic Day celebrations across the country. Take a look at where you can pick up some most exciting and funky Black Comics & graphic novels created by artists and writers who celebrate the unique energy of the Afro-Futuristic Black Age!

Catch Artist and Professor, Turtel Onli and Father of the Black Age at the DuSable Museum Trading Post Gift Shop at 2pm -5pm. Featuring the new Sustah Girl Work Out Book -
'cause "Even Super heroes have to stay in shape!
plus Free signed copies of the collectable Malcolm 10 to the first 100 folks!
The DuSable Museum's Trading Post gift shop will host a signing and discussion featuring Turtel Onli
the creator/publisher of NOG, Malcolm-10, Sustah-Girl and more.
The Trading Post features one of the few dedicated racks of Black Age graphic novels & comic books in the USA. Museum admission required. Great for educators, fans, collectors.
Afterwards at ONLI STUDIOS at 34th & South Racine, 4th floor in Chicago's new Bridgeport Area,
there will be a Black Age gathering to network and share ideas.
Hours: 6 pm to 11 pm.
